Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dynamic Papers (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use dynamicpapers.com. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. Specifically:
- Server logs: standard request data (IP address, user-agent, referrer, requested URL, timestamp). Used for security and debugging. Logs are rotated and discarded within 30 days.
- Newsletter signups: when you submit your email to our subscribe form, we store the email address, the page you submitted from, the time, and your IP address. We use this only to send you exam-session paper-drop notifications and to prevent abuse.
- Cookies: we use a small number of cookies for sessions, your consent choice, and (if you accept) third-party advertising. See section 4.
We do not ask for your name, school, exam-board enrolment, age, or any other identifying information to download papers.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver pages and downloads you request.
- To send newsletter notifications you have opted into.
- To detect abuse, throttle bots, and keep the service available.
- To serve advertising (if you have not opted out — see section 5).
- To comply with legal obligations when required.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone other than the third-party services listed in section 5.
3. Legal basis (UK / EEA users)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests for serving pages, security, and abuse prevention.
- Consent for newsletter signups and for personalised advertising.
4. Cookies
We use the following cookies and similar storage:
- Session cookie (
dp_session) — sets only when you log in to the admin area. Encrypted and httpOnly. - Consent choice (
dp-consentin localStorage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. - Promo modal (
dp-promo-*in localStorage) — remembers that you have dismissed or completed the newsletter prompt. - Anchor ad dismissal (
dp-anchor-dismissed-until) — remembers that you have hidden the mobile sticky ad for a few hours. - Google AdSense — third-party cookies set by Google to serve and measure ads. Load only if you have not opted out (see section 5).
5. Advertising — Google AdSense
We display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and opt out of third-party vendors at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
You can also block AdSense from this site by clicking Essential only in our cookie banner — the AdSense script will not load on subsequent page loads.
6. Other third parties
- Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection. Cloudflare sees the same request data as our server.
- Hosting provider — operates the server that runs this site.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.
- Opt out of personalised advertising (see section 5).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (UK ICO, EU DPAs, etc.).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data retention
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
- Session cookies: cleared when you log out or after 7 days, whichever is first.
9. Children’s privacy
Dynamic Papers is intended for students preparing for exams and may be used by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 beyond what is required to deliver the service. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 14 days.
